Miscellany
Elena started her career training to be a Medical Physicist at the University of Surrey, developing an interest digital mammography. Shortly after she was offered a placement in a large medical imaging company, where she was able to link the key detector characteristics to the hard requirements of the clinical need.
Elena took this subject further as she embarked on her doctoral studies investigating the merits of using digital post processing in grid-less mammography. She brings a wealth of imaging and imager science to the team.
