How it all started
Unitive Design was formed in 2014 by Dr Philip Marsden who wanted to offer a streamlined design and development service to bring next generation technologies to life. Based on scientific and industrial research, the company initially focused on Medical Devices. Since then we’ve expanded into industry, translating technologies across every sector. By designing and developing bespoke sensing, imaging and other systems for the industrial, nuclear and defence sectors we’ve seen true innovation deliver real results. The core hand-picked team has grown, as has Unitive’s close long-standing network of trusted partners.

What We Do
We’re technology specialists with commercial acumen. We work with customers, large and small, to design and develop transformative medical and industrial products and systems. Our ethos is in being open and collaborative, working closely with our clients, industrial and medical product designers, and regulatory specialists.
We offer an expert process-driven technical approach, sharing know-how along the way. We design efficiently for performance qualification, regulatory compliance, manufacture, cost, service. Sustainability and lifecycle management are important to us.
